Well, we made it to London for a week in December 1999.  Stayed in a lovely apartment in Gloucester Road,  South Kensington for the period.  Did all the touristy things (as can be seen from the photos), as well as doing some shopping, and going to the theatre (Antigone at the Old Vic, and Les Miserables)
