| London - New Years
Eve/Day We went to London on the 31st
December 1999, and attended the Millennium Proms
concert at the Albert Hall. Our accomodation was
back at Citadines in South Kensington, where we
had stayed before. And then the big night -
putting asides fears of the Millennium Bug, and
rain, we joined 3 million other people in the
heart of London. Crowded and crushed, we managed
to get to the Embankment, and watched the
spectacular show overlooking the Thames to the
London Eye, with Big Ben in sight.
